Tunze 9002 or 9005

hi, please recommend me 9002 or 9005 for my 45 gal FOWLR. i only have hippo tang and clown triggerfish but dont want to add more. is 9002 too small for my tank? or should i go for 9005? thanks

I have a 9005 inside my 46 gallon bow front and it seems to work fine. I've been told that a 9002 would be to small, and if you ever plan on upgrading from a fowlr you will need the bigger size. The only drawback is mine is in the tank, maybe someday I have a sump to put it in.

You will be happy with the purchase. 9005 or 9010 are better choice than 9002 in your case. For the price difference, you should also consider 9010 instead of 9005. It will give you a peace of mind with a stronger skimmer.
