Tunze 9004 and 3163

Hey there, I'm planning to startup a Mr Aqua 12 gallon Long. I was wondering if the Mr 12 gallon long will be able to fit and use the 9004 and 3163. Is the tank high enough to properly use both the filter and skimmer?

Dimension: 35.4″ x 8.3″ x 9.4″. 5 mm thick glass

I think it is too much hardware for such a small tank. They would fit if the tank was nearly bare bottom, but I would wait. We have something new coming for tanks in this size around Mar/Apr.

I'm just trying to decide between that or an a 20g long or Pico Aquariums IIIs. I think I heard it mentioned there's a redesign coming for the 9002?

Yes, it should be out by April. It will be a bit weaker but also smaller and ideal for tanks under 20 gallons.
