tunze 9004 start

just installed new tunze 9004.
it does not start making bubble itself, is it normal in the initial installation, so I brew up with my mouth to the hole of silencer hole than it start making bubble, is it normal? or should I wait until it start making bubble itself? than how long it will take to start making bubble itself?

I just put one of these in my QT tank today. When I first turned it on it did not make any bubbles and it was making a rattling noise. When I took it apart the piece that connects the air hose to the pin wheel had dislodge in shipping. I put it back in place and when I turned the skimmer back on it started to make bubbles instantly.

Yes, it is making a rattling noise, can you send me the photo where I put it back in place?

It is very common for the impeller housing that takes in the air to come off in shipping, you just need to open the skimmer and reconnect it.

I cannot take a picture but page 38 box 1 in the manual shows the part that needs to be put back in place. It just snaps into the impeller housing, make sure you line up the 4 fins with the little groves in the impeller housing.

The air hose connected to impeller housing, I will clean up the impeller as instruct in the manual.

I clean up the impeller, and it make bubble automatically now, thank you.
