Tunze 9010?

I saw a 9010 for sale in the drygoods selling section and so I'd like to ask the following:

Is it too small for my 180? The web says that it is "Recommended for aquariums up to 1,000 litres (264 US gal.) of salt water", however I see people using them only on much smaller systems - 55 to 90 gallon range. Would this not be a good skimmer for me? And also, is it an IN SUMP style skimmer?

Thanks a lot!
Britt

It is for either in sump or in tank use. The full rating criteria is as follows:

9010- 264 gallons of a basic FOWLR or Dutch Style Reef (fish, some soft corals and coralimorphia and some macro algaes)

Deduct 20% for a higher load including LPS and more demanding soft corals.

Deduct 40% for SPS

Deduct 60% for a heavily stocked SPS tank
