Tunze 9015 doesn't start after reconnecting

I have recently (2 months) purchased a Tunze9015 skimmer at MD for my 240 gallon reef tank. I installed it in the sump and it works great but.... As I live in Mexico City power failures happen from time to time and I noticed that the Skimmer won't start again after such an event. I have to get it out of the sump, reassemble it and with luck after a couple of times it starts running again. The same happens when I disconnect it for cleaning. I noticed a clacking noise after I reconnect it and it seems that the pump has problems working after such a restart. There is only a small waterflow after such a restart and the noise and after a little time waterflow stops completly.
I can't imagen that this is normal. What can I do so that the skimmer starts working right away after reconnecting it?

If you have a minimum of 108V I can help you by sending a smaller impeller. Below 108V a completely different DC pump is required.

Thank you very much. Electricity runs at 120V so that should work. If the smaller impeller helps where can I send you my details?

It wil fix it, just send me a PM with your address, the impeller is only about 1mm smaller.
