Tunze color?

Have the Tunze streams always been brown? I thought they were black, but my friend just received his 6100s and they were brown. The Wavebox he also received was black. I realize that they will eventually encrust with coraline, but I'm sort of retentive about the look of things in my tank - black blends in well with the tank and would match the wavebox, where the brown just seems like it would stick out.

Was there a change and will they all be this color from now on?

They were always brown, black is our new color and is slowly being phased in. The Streams will probably start arriving in black around June.

Man, I wish I had known that. I will overlook the brown until they're purple. I just got mine hooked up and now have a giant snow globe.
