Will a tunze 7095 control 2 different size pump, like 2 6095 and 2 6105?

I have a question, should I go for 4 tunze 6095 or 2 6105 for softies. Tank size is 96x24x30.

My vote of the two choices would be 4 6095s. That is a big footprint and in my opinion can be hard to get flow right thru the whole tank with only two pumps.

I agree with Shawn. An alternative would be to use a Wavebox 6215 along with a few of the 6095s.

Wouldn't that Wavebox makes noise in the overflow box?

It can, but it depends on the height of the water inside the overflow box, which can usually be adjusted.

I have 3 option. What's your recommendation??? I'm looking for gentle flow without blowing my softie off and at the same time have enough flow to suspend debris. Also best flow for the buck.

A) 2 6095 on the back glass with 2 6105 (one on each side)
B) 4 6095 on the back glass
C) 2 6095 on the back glass with a tunze 6215 wave box.

Hugh,

One thing I want to mention that may be a problem is the 6095 and 6105 as delivered only work on 1/2" glass. Both can be upgraded to 3/4" with changing the outside magnet holder (about $20 for the 6095 and $50 for the 6105). If it is more than 3/4", this is only possible with the 6105 and it costs $100 to upgrade to a magnet pair for 1" glass.

I think the best option if the magnets will work is B, and adding a wavebox would still be great, you could start with C as well and add a couple more pumps if needed.
