Tunze Feeding Pause Clicking

During a feeding pause all my 6055s click intermittently. Is there any way to stop this?

FYI I have the voltage set from 3 to 8 as specified here and elsewhere.

I'm running three 6055's and have not encountered that problem.

Check the Tunze forum, perhaps the issue is with your 6055's. Tunze updated the drive shaft to prevent clicking, is it possible you have the older model?

Cheers for the replies.

I have three Tunze 6055s and the problem isn't just on start up (I can live with a click on start up). During the feed pause they click intermittently (say every 5-10 seconds or so). This can surely only be the GHL sending some kind of signal to the 6055??? Unless they also do this in "off" mode through the Tunze controllers... ...I really see no logic behind it though.

One 6055 is just purchased (so I'll be a bit annoyed if it has an old spec part on it) and has the same impellor as one of the 4 month old ones but the other 6055 does have a different impellor which was causing me problems - basically the prop would fall off the end on start up. I have had to tangit weld this on and now it is fine.

Could you tell me your GHL firmware version and what voltage settings you have for your pumps (I have 3v-8v as suggested)?

I am running firmware version 4.03 and am using voltage settings of 3v-8v.

During the feeding pause, 2 of the 6055's are at minimum (I've used 10%, 20% and am currently using 30% as the minimum setting) and one is off. All three 6055's are set to short, right-angled waves (30% min, 100% max) with a 3 second duration.

Hope this helps.
