On Friday I purchased this pump and when I hooked it up today it was very loud. After some inspection the impeller shaft on the pump body side is chipped in two places and makes the pump "buzz" loudly when running.
Roger from Tunze USA is out of action this week email him the details and I am sure he will replace the part for you next week when he is back on board.
