I was cleaning my skimmer pump today when I noticed this split in the cord. I am concerned this is a safety issue.

It is a very good pump for a skimmer.

Please send it in, there is no immediate hazard but if either wire was nicked it could be a safety hazard and it is best to get it taken care of.
