Tunze in Toronto?

Just wondering if there are any stores in Toronto, Canada selling Tunze skimmers. I would like to see one before I buy it.

I also have a question about the ratings of different skimmers. A couple of retailers now have told me (not just for Tunze but for all skimmers) that realistically you should halve the rating of the manufacturer. So a skimmer rated for a 300 gallon tank should be used only up to a 150 gallon tank, for example. Are they just try to sell me something for expensive, or is there some wisdom to their cynicism?

It isn't really cynicism, The skimmer ratings we typically see were based on fish only and soft coral reef tanks where less skimming was desirable, usually these tanks grow some macro algaes and the animals do well with slightly higher nutrient levels. Now the current vogue is SPS tanks and they need a lwo nutrient condition so the ratings should be halved. Euro Reef ratings seem accurate for these tanks as do the ratings of most new skimmers including our DOC skimmer line which is coming out soon.
