Dang sounds like it makes more sense to buy the magnet first and then the stream or box once it comes in. No use having a 500.00 wavebox sitting around getting old.....

To be fair, the stream works absolutely great and the hanging equipment works fine in my tank. I just need the magnet for some flexibility in moving it around where I want it. Tunze is the bottleneck, not Marine Depot.

Right.....tunze for sure, not Marine Depot's fault for not being able to get product that doesnt exist. Maybe its planned scarcity? LOL sorry, I just had to say it....the conspiracy theorist in me just has to think that way. I mean if I had a product that was already designed and being manufactured, and most of the major costs already taken care of, I would be at the factory myself cranking the things out 24/7 to keep supply near demand. Would it really be bad if upping the supply a little ultimately reduces the demand and the price drops a little?

It actually is.
Tunze is intentionally not boosting production to meet the demand.
