Tunze minis + wavemaker

I'm using Tunze minis in my nanos and wonder if they'll hold up to the on/off cycles of a wavemaker ? Has anyone that you know of tried this? If so what were the results ?

I wouldn't see why not, most of our pumps cannot be used on wavemakers because of the unidirectional movement but the mini is more conventional in that it has a "normal" impeller that can spin either way. I am sure that like every pump you use a wavemaker on the pump will suffer a bit from a shortened life, the harsh starts tend to slowly tear apart the impeller and unfortunately they don't have spare parts for that pump.
