Tunze nano 6025 vinegar soak ok??

Is vinegar supposed to damage the cord on the Tunze Nano 6025? After a ~24 hour vinegar soak, the cord on my nano appeared swollen. Then I soaked the pump for an additional day in H2O and now the cord is very very swolen. Is this normal? Do you think there is any danger of electricution?

I have soaked many Tunze pumps in vinegar over the years with part of the cord submersed and not seen any adverse effects, maybe roger has come across this.

I have two Tunze Stream 6100's that I regularly soak in vinegar and they have not shown any adverse effects. Interestingly, I just noticed that another one of my nano 6025's has a swolen cord (although, not nearly as bad as the one pictured).

That is very odd. Was it vinegar or glacial acetic? I have never seen that happen, I would not use that pump.

It was 100% White Vinegar. Are the 6025 nano cords made of a different material than the 6100 cords?

No, should be the same, PVC jacket, send me the motor and we will replace it.
