Tunze Nano 9002 and a 24g Aquapod

I have a 24g aquapod with a 6 year old us aquarium systems skimmer. It is all but shot so I need a new one. I have been looking for a while and have settled on the Tunze nano 9002. My plan is to hang a CPR fuge of the back of the tank and place the Tunze 9002 in the back sump of the aquapod. How does this set up sound and how is that skimmer? My tank is a mix of lps and sps with a derasa clam

I don't have first hand experience with this set up. I have used the skimmer but not on a ready made nano reef tank. My advise is to check the nano reef forums. There is plenty of info out there on this skimmer and your tank.

the 9002 fits right down in the chamber. I have one in the right chamber as you look at the front of the tank.
It does a really good job. I have mine open top. It will not fit with the stock hood on it.
