tunze nano cleaner

has anyone tried to put a nano cleaner in the first chamber of a jbj nc24? i was thinking of cutting out the factory overflow grill and installing the cleaner in the hole. i think this would make an ideal spot for chemi pure, floss and anything you would like to add for media. would the pump from the cleaner offset the balance of the pump in the third chamber??
