Tunze Nanostream issue

I just purchased 2x 6025 tunze nanostreams today, upon opening the box I noticed that the cover on the pump cannot close all the way because of the poor machining/craftsmanship on the area with the cord sticking out.. So I checked and opened my other new tunze 6025 and it's even worse, won't even try to close...

I paid over $155+ for both of them at a local fish store, I know it's not their fault so I want to bring this up on this sponsors board first.. let me know what we can do to correc this issue.

It sounds like older stock, this issue was resolved some months ago, early on the covers were hand fitted to the US cord which is thicker than the other cords used and often this step was missed, since then the cover was redone to have a larger notch. I can send 2 new covers, just PM me your info.

I believe I have the same problem...The bottom of the cover fits nice and tight but the top near the cord just doesnt seem to "clip" into anything..almost like the lip is too small..

I hope this is what is you are talking about, I dont want to seem like Im hijacking your thread...

If you PM me I can send a new cover but I also need to know what model pump you have, the covers are specific to the model.

I have the same issue on a 6025 that I bought brand new a few weeks ago. I also notice that it's louder than my other 6025.

I will send you a PM also. :)

In a pinch you could just take an Exacto knife, or Dremel and trim away the excess for better fitment.

Hey Rog,

1.5 years on my 6025's and they still work like a champ! Thanks to Tunze for a GREAT product!
