tunze + neptune(help)

It was what Neptune controller do you have; AC3, Apex, etc. The trpe of controller will affect what you need to purchase.

I think what the OP was asking is what controller should he buy in order to have the ability to control Tunze pumps (see post #3).

If that is the case then I would suggest the Apex controller (not Apex Lite); is can control 4 Tunze pumps.

Ken,
Do you need the VDM module to control the Tunze's. I am considering adding a couple 6205's or 6305's to my system and am on the fence as to whether to control them via my Apex or just use the Tunze controller. What else is needed beside the Tunze adapter cables to control them via the Apex? Also, from my reading the Tunze's run at up to 18V for full power. Does the Apex variable speed control allow the Tunze's to go to full power?

The Apex (again, not Lite) will control 4 Tunze variable speed pumps directly. You just need the cables and you're good to go. Works very well! The VDM would only be needed on an Apex if you wanted to add more than 4 Tunze pumps.

Thanks Jkopp. I just ordered a couple 6205's as well as the cable. I also decided to go ahead and get the tunze 7096 controller just in case I have trouble programming the Apex for them. I am sure I wont with the help of everybody here but the Tunze will make it easier to figure out what flow combination works best for my setup and once I dial that in, I will work on translating it to the Apex. I guess I have a project for the weekend.
