I know this will may start some problems with loyalty but I would like some honest recommendations from people who own them.
Due to space restrictions and a tank that had to be fairly close to a wall I couldn't go with a closed loop to start on my 210g. I was fine with that and had planned on using Tunze 6100s in there and a controller and creating the flow I needed.
Well now I have been reading up on the Vortech Mp40s and they look pretty impressive also along with the new version Tunze models coming out. I like the battery back up option as well as built in controllers with the MP40s but also the smaller design of the new Tunze model
The more I read the more undecided and confused with the options I get.
Right now since Tunze was in the switch to the new model I didnt order any and am using a bunch of MJ 1200 with the Sureflow mod kits on them while waiting. Thats was until the MP40s popped their design into the picture
Any pros and cons on these or words of wisdom? I was fine modding MJs in my smaller tanks but have much more tank space to worry about now and the chance for many more corals too....
