Tunze Osmolator 3155 Issue

In Memoriam
I have had the Tunze Osmolator 3155 for a couple years with really no issues. The other day I was doing a water change so I shut the power to the ato off. When I powered it back on, the pump just kept running thinking the water level was low. The sensor was touching water, but the light stayed orange and the pump continued to dump water. When its first turned on it dumps for a few seconds. Then the green level light flashes for a few more seconds, then it turns back orange and keeps dumping water. I tried washing the sensor under hot soapy water but that didn't do anything. The only way the pump shuts off is if it gets to high and the float switch rises. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Is it approximately 2 years old or much older? It sounds like an optic sensor that is starting to fail. If you are in the US and you send it to me we can repair it.

Just send the controller with the attached sensors and a note with your return address and phone number.
