tunze osmolator failure

my high limit alarm wont shut off is there a repair I can do.
I love this unit its one of the first units that came out.

I don't generally recommend repairing an Osmolator made before 2008, so much has changed and since capacitors tend to fail with age, it tends to be throwing good money after bad and an upgrade to a new controller would be money better spent. You can get the float, that may or may not be the cause, it is the most probable cause, it is part 3152.300. It will have a plug on the end you won't use, older ones are soldered in. You would cut off the plug and solder the new float to the board. You could verify it is a faulty float before buying one by cutting off the float and shorting the green and white wires together, if the alarm stops, it is the float. Just keep in mind that older controllers have compatibility issues with pumps made now and eventually the whole unit will need to be replaced and that $24 for the float might be better put to a new 3155.
