Tunze Osmolator in sump

Hi, I would like to add the Tunze Osmolator to my tank but since it would have to sit in the sump the dry side of the magnet would actually have to be immersed in water. Would this be a problem? Is the dry side going to rust inside the water?

On all of our magnet holders, both halves are waterproof.
