tunze osmolator issue

hey everyone! its been a while for me on here. my tank has been running great, and i have been out of cash to spend money on anything i need advice on keeping. but my osmolator pump keeps turning on for only 5-10 seconds then just will just humm and not pump until the error light comes on. is this probably just a defective pump? or is there something i can do to fix it? my unit has worked great for over a year. and the replacements are not that expensive. any advice would be great.

You may want to post this in the Tunze forum and see what Roger has to say about it.
Has it run dry recently where air could have gotten in it? You could try and see if it does by turning the pump upside down under water and see if any air bubbles come out from the hole in the bottom. Mine did this one time and it was due to air when I pulled the pump out to clean my ATO container....

I would too expect that is the problem.
