Tunze Osmolator Metering Pump 5000.02

Will this be able to work on other Auto Top Off systems? I have a JBJ ATO I would like to use this pump for. Or does this only work by plugging it into the Osmolater Controller? From the pics on Marine Depot's site, I don't see a power plug for it or I would have to add one. Also, what size tubing does it use to feed water?

It uses 6*9mm tubing. It uses low voltage and connects to a simple connector on the osmolator. You could make a set up but it would require a transformer and the pump and some sort of coupler.

I was also wondering about the same thing too.
I was looking for a pump with a bit more push.
Is it possible to replace the tunze pump with say a maxijet?

A maxijet will have less push- it isn't a high head pump. You can use switched socket 3150.11 to use any 115V pump up to 150W.

humm, Maybe my pump is old.
It takes a while for it to get the water going.
Is that normal?
I guess maybe I can try a Mag or an Eheim.

It can take a while especially if the hose is very long or a bit obstructed.

The 3150.11 just takes the 9v signal to flip a relay and turn on a 115V pump, honestly, I would just buy a new pump, you can buy 3 pumps for what that socket costs. Marine Depot stocks the pumps.
