So I got a Tunze Osmolator Nano 3152 Auto Top Off from BRS less than a year ago. The sensor seems like its not detecting when the water lowers in the sump. But when I hit the on off switch on the power bar its connected to the water begins to flow and it stops where it suppose to stop. But as the water evaporates it doesn't sense the level drop and the water keeps evaporating until I turn off/on the unit again. Any tips or do I have to return this? Thanks

I suspect the issue is the safety timer. Read the manual pages 22-29. As a safety the 3152 has a timer, if the float were to fail, by default the timer only lets the pump run 1.8 minutes, it then shuts off the controller until you cycle the power. This is a backup to prevent flooding. If the tank is bigger than 25 gallons you must extend this timer to 3 minutes as shown or it will generally run the full 1.8 minutes and shut down, this equals less than a 1/2 gallon of water. When this shut down is activated, for a brief time the pump will pulse as a warning that it has timed out. The 3 minute time out is suitable for tanks up to 52 gallons. Likely, with the unset of summer, evaporation has increased and it is now timing out more often.
