Tunze Osmolator pump light flashes briefly constantly

Question on the Osmolator...

The yellow pump light flickers on and off about once every two seconds for less than a second. Is there something wrong with the controller, pump, or sensor?

The controller or the power supply. The power supply is either dying or the capacitor for the optic sensor is getting weak. How old is it?

It is a faulty capacitor, PM me your info and we will swap you out. Our capacitor supplier changed from paper to plastic insulation and the plastic has some bleed through and loses current, we had to change suppliers, we had a very brief run before we found this problem and most are fine, but the plastic can lose current at a faster rate. This was beyond our control as nothing changed on our end, we ordered the same part with the same specs but we were delivered a different product.
