Tunze Osmolator Pump wont work

Came back home today and found out that my RODI water reservoir has a bit of water on the bottom and almost empty ... it looks like it reached this level for around 5 hrs or so....

i refilled it and noticed a problem ... the pump does not run ... the controller is running fine but the pump looks dead ... tried to remove the bubbles, flipit upside down and still it wont budge ...

the pump is almost 10 days old and i am not sure if leaving running dry for a short period will cause such damage ...

WHat should i do ?

Test the pump by connecting it to a 9V battery, just touch the bare wires to the terminals. The pump can handle a run dry, the controller will only let it run 10 minutes at a time.

well i bought another pump and the issue is still there ...

Did you try the battery test first to confirm it was the pump? If the pumps work, it is likely the controller has a defect and should be replaced. If it is less than 2 years old you should be able to send it in for warranty coverage, I would be the contact in the US.

Are you in the US or Saudi Arabia? In Saudi Arabia it would probably be fastest and cheapest to send it to the main office in Germany. For the US, you would just include a return address (if the return address is not in the US, return shipping would be charged) and phone number.
