Tunze Osmolator question

Hi Roger,
I have had my Osmolator for about 3-4 years. The controller seems to be working but the pump does not kick on. Can I hook the pump to a power source to nail down that it's the pump that's dead? Any recommendations?
I know the pump can be replaced, and would rather do that of course if possible.

If the pump is 3-4 years old, it is almost sure it is dead. They usually last 2-3 years. You can touch the pump wires to any 9V battery to test it.
