Tunze Osmolator? - Shooting bubble clouds

I just got a used 30 gallon oceanic cube setup that came with a Tunze autotopoff/in tank filter system (I think that's what this is). I can't find the exact product based on what it looks like, but I think its an Osmolator (see pics). I would really like to know what system/model it is, and if any of you have a manual or know where I could get one, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I'm having some issues with the system. The top off portion seems to be working properly, but the in-tank filter part is shooting out bubbles. Water flows through the teeth, falls into the brown box, gets sucked through a blue sponge (I have a feeling that some sort of filter cartridge might belong here instead) into a powerhead, and pumped back out. The water level within the brown part does not stay level, and the powerhead is sucking air through the sponge and blowing out tons of little bubbles (see pics). I don't know how it's supposed to work, so I don't know how to fix it. Any suggestions? It's bothering my Xenia!

The Osmolator setup you have there is called an Osmomat and last year I ran into the same problems you're having. I'm sure Roger will answer soon but in the meantime, here's the thread to the answer he gave me.

BTW, once it was setup it worked perfectly.

You basically have to slow the pump down, using the adjustment on it. Sorry for the late response, I came down with the flu very suddenlly yesterday and I just barely woke up a couple hours ago. I hope to be back to work tomorrow.
