Is the float raised or being affected by a magnet? What lights are on on the display, all or just the two red ones? In general the issue you describe will be caused by a magnet affecting the float switch or controller or water damage to the controller but their are other possibilities. I am a day away by mail in Austin, TX, I would check the above two possibilities and if it is not one of these, I would send it in and we will get it repaired quickly. I would consider anything changed or added between when it worked and when it stopped working, prime culprits.

It worked fine till i added my radion g2 lights. But the ballasts for those are atleast 8' away.
The only magnet close to the float switch is the magnet that holds it

If you unplug the Radions does it then work? If so the issue is EMF interfering with the controller, while they may be 8ft apart, if they are sharing an outlet or the wiring for the two items are in contact, the wires will serve as an antenna.

Regarding the magnet holder, this could only be an issue if it was moved, the outer magnet is smaller and should line up with the bottom of the bigger inner magnet so the float is in a position shielded from the magnetic field. The float is a magnetic switch so it is vulnerable to magnets, but I think the issue is EMF and the controller.

Unplugged or turned off? They would have to be unplugged for the test to have any meaning.

Today i swapped controllers with my propagation systems osmolator and the same problem persisted.. All lights flash and alarm sounds. So then i swapped pump assemblys and it worked fine.
Tonight when i get home i will put the original controler back onto my sump and keep the working pump on it to verify this is definatly the problem.
Will keep you posted

Also try making sure the pump wire is not in contact with the float switch wire, the pump is a brush motor driven unit, it creates a EMF and if the pump wire is secured to or near the sensor wires, this can be a cause.
