i changed to a magnet holder and now when the water is TOO high the light goes RED immediately and beeps.

how can i stop the beeping? it never did this on the old setup even when i stopped the overflow and filled up the sump.

thanks.

This sounds like normal behavior to me, or at least it's consistent with the behavior of the 3 osmolators I use. Perhaps your upper switch wasn't working properly in your old setup? The only way I know to stop the beeping is to lower the water level or lift the switch out of the water.

This is what is supposed to happen when the float goes up, you can turn off the alarm by changing a jumper inside the controller, this is covered in the manual. My guess is that in your previous install the float was much higher up or was stuck.
