Tunze osmolator

I recently (about 2 months ago) got an osmolator. I have it being controlled by my Neptune Apex based on what the pH is. I am having it top off with kalk water. Whenever the tunze powers up it runs the pump for a few seconds. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks.

Roger will be on tomorrow likely for a sure answer. I know Osmolators always run a few seconds at first power until the internals charge up. You may have to pump a valve on the hose to slow the flow down. It will have to run longer when it does run but will not pup as muchh at each power cycle.

There is no way around this, this few second delay is the time it takes for the board to fully energize and the optic sensor to come on line and be able to "see". In general, if left to run as intended, the osmolator should dose so little at any one time that there would be a minimal change in pH so the Neptune connection is unnecessary and does defeat the final 10 minute time out safety as this is reset every time the Neptune switches it off.
