my 6mos old tunze osmolator is acting weird,
it alarms even though the water hasnt reach the 2nd sensor.
the alarm just turns on, even if the pump is not pumping, even if the water is on level with the first sensor (optical).
it has done it 3x this week.

how do i fix that?

That would generally indicate a magnetic issue for the float switch, If you look closely the float has a magnetic ring inside which actuates a magnetic switch in the post. Causes can include-

1) Magnet holder is misaligned, the larger inner magnet bottom should line up with the bottom of the smaller inner magnet.

2) The float swicth is improperly installed, it must be in the larger C clip, post facing up, and securely tightened so it is secure and upright.

3) There is another source of magnetism acting on the float.

4) During cleaning the float was inverted, the black magnetic ring should be at the top of the float.

5) The controller is near a magnet, the float switch actuates a relay, also a magnetic switch, a nearby magnet can force the relay closed.

Keep in mind most ballasts and large pumps emit magnet fields, if any new equipment was added or moved prior to this happening, that would be the place to start.
