Tunze Osmomat 5024

I'm currently running a 50 gallon tank. It's in my living room so there ain't space for a sump. I have a 7G container with RO water in the next room. aprox. 1.5 meters above the tank. I'm looking for something that automates topp-off and can keep the water level stable. The Tunze Osmomat 5024 seems to be the best option so far. Will the osmomat 5024 work properly with this setup ? someone mentioned that the osmomat only draws water and dont stop it from running, and with the container above the tank this will result in a flood.

It would be a good solution if you can locate the reservoir below the aquarium. The problem is the pump will start a siphon on the first run if the reservoir is above the aquarium and it will empty the entire reservoir. If you can move your reservoir though, it will work very well.
