Need help please
anyone with this setup
i purchased a 2nd hand tunze ph\co2 controller set

ph controller working fine
but i think the co2 value set faulty

when the controller red light for co2 comes on should this shut the dvc value on the value set off (there for no co2 going to reactor)

has anyone had this problem if so whats need or do i need to replace dvc in the valve set

When the red light comes on, the valve should be open, it opens if the value is above the set value. Be sure that no battery is being used. The controller is powered by the transformer connected to the solenoid, an additional battery can damage the unit and cause erratic behavior.

when the controller red light for co2 comes on then the dcv value is opened so when the light is off there should be no co2 flow is that right ( no co2 going to reactor)
mine is flowing co2 when light is on and off

there is no battery

It sounds like the solenoid is stuck, the usual cause of this is corrosion from saltwater back siphoning at some point. You can buy the valve a seperate set 7074.11. You might also try to dissassemble the valve and clean it with isopropyl alcohol and compressed air.
