Tunze placement in tank

I have two Tunze Stream 6100 with a multi-controller for my 150G 60x24x24. I have mostly softies and shrooms with rock against the back half way up the tank in U shapes so there are a few small lagoons.

1) How should I place them in the tank for best flow/push debris to overflow? Option 1? Option 2? Other?
2) At what height? One a few inches under the water line? The other as deep as the clip can go?

I think I would be tempted to run them with option 2. However, as to placement, where are your returns from your overflow. The Tunzes are so strong that I would be tempted to place them both in the bottom 1/3 of the tank, as you are probably going to alternate them with the controller. If you place them too low they may stir up your sand-bed as well as move the detritus.

I know that a lot (including myself) find the best placement is to put them in the back corners and aim them roughly at the center of the front glass. I know that I got really good random current throughout my tanks in the past using this method.

Either option 2 or as Johnsteph 10 said would likely be best.
