Tunze Power Magnet Issue

Roger,

I have a tunze power magnet cleaner. I have had it for a year or a little longer and I noticed that the half of the magnet that goes inside the tank has been taking on water when its submerged. And I have to hold it at an angle when I'm done scraping the glass until all the water is drained out. Can this cause a problem for my tank? also is there a warranty for these too?

here is a pic of the one I have. Not sure of the model number.

thanks.

This is normal, the magnet is internally coated in polyurethane, the plastic housing is mostly a decorative covering and there is a void space inside, more so in the smaller magnet cleaners as the magnets occupy less space in the housing.
