Tunze Products: Are they worth the price?

My answer is YES! I have four 6025 Nanostreams. They cost about $65 each and probably the best spent money on my tank. Not only are they superior products but the customer service is unmatched. I broke 3 clips while cleaning the pumps and Roger sent me 4 new ones right away. I bought 3 of them when they first came out so two of them had issues with the shafts but Roger sent me two new ones at no charge.

There are some things that you can go cheap on but a lot of times you get what you pay for.

I've got over two grand in Tunze water movement. It would have been a few hundred had I not first wasted my money on Chinese made crap that is sold everywhere.

I sent in a 6100 a few weeks ago, and it was repaired and returned with NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! Roger stands by his products and has made Tunze USA one of the best companies in the marine aquarium industry.

Yes. Osmolator - flawless. DOC9010 - consistent and easy. 6060 Streams - bulletproof. 6045 Nano Streams - great design all the better with now with new plastic.

I could not agree more with Hiep, I am so happy with my 6025's!! I will admit I was a little afraid to cough up the money at first, but I think of all the money I wasted on other powerheads before these three and buying Tunze was a great investment.
As for customer service, they are top-notch. If something happens, you notify Roger and he takes care of it ASAP. I can't ask for anything more than that!!!

I've got $3K in streams and waveboxes, I love them and am seriously considering removing at least one of my microbubble spewing, power hungry reeflo hammerhead closed loops!

I haven't had the pleasure of needing warranty work from Roger yet, they have been working flawlessy from day one.

I'll pile on. I have never used any powerheads in my tank except Tunze. Started with the 6000's, used the convenient transformer upgrade to 6100's when I enlarged my display tank, and now have added the 6055's for some precision flow. All are running on my 7095 multicontroller. These products are built for durability in the incredibly demanding salt water environment.

I have said it many times to folks in my area - Tunze rocks. Best products for the money. And the support after the sale is just what you'd expect. You can go cheaper, but you'll just wind up paying more in the long run. Save up for Tunze the first time and you'll be glad you did.

I had a Tunze 6000 in my 90G and have a pair of 6100s in the 180. They have been flawless. I tried a pair of Vortechs recently and hated them. They do have great flow, but the noise level is absolutely awful, the controller nowhere near as nice as a 7095 and the external motor and large wire was an eyesore.

I got two 6200, two 6100 and two 6000 and they all work flawless. Once my corals grow bigger I might have to change the transformer on my 6000 with 6100 transformer to increase the flow.
