Hi Rick,

Thanks for the reply, I spoke to Roger at Tunze and according to him, Tunze USA has temporarily discontinued the salt until improvements can be made in the packaging of the salt product.

Thanks for contacting Tunze and getting that info...it's a bummer but I know they've been having issues with it. I guess it's time to give Tropic Marin a shot.

Hi Rick,

I just wanted to let you know that Roger also made a mention that he would hopefully have the salt in the new packaging early this Summer, though I am not entirely sure if we will be stocking the salt at that time again.

I have heard good things about the Tropic Marin Salt, you may want to give it a try in the meantime

Good to know about Tunze...very risky for them though, I bet their limited US market share in the salt business is really going to take a hit but I do respect their decision to make things right. I just placed my order with MD yesterday and one item I did order was the TM Salt...it should be here today.
