Tunze Reefpack canopy clearance

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a Reefpack for a FOWLR tank and was wondering if it (the collection cup) would clear my canopy. I have a AGA modern series canopy which gives me about 6 inches of clearance from the plastic tank brace. Also should I wait for the nano reefpack since this is a 55G tank and I already have auto-top off on this tank.

A 55 is at the limit of what the nano reefpack could do. I would do the Reefpack 500. The issue is this. Even though you may have the clearance in the cap, do you have it in the back, from top of the tank frame to the edge framing in the back of the cap you need to have 5" clearance. I know an Oceanic only has 3.25" with their cap this is the real obstacle.
