Tunze rock placement

Planning to buy the rock for my 125 AGA (6' long) tank. Just wondering what is the best place to put it - bottom just above the sand or midway

I wouldn't put it to close to the sand as the stream could get sand in it rather quickly. Its recommened that you put the rock in the upper half of your tank.

As Bigdee said. In my 75 which is barebottom, I propped the rock up on a few short piece of live rock placing it about 4" above the bottom.
