Tunze Safety Connector

Hello. Can you tell me if the Tunze Safety Connectors work with the older style 6100s? Also how long are the leads on the Tunze Safety Connectors?

No it only works with newer style pumps like the 6055, 6x01 and 6x05

The leads are about 6ft, but as Shawn said, it won't work for a 6100.

Will it not work because the 6100s operate at a different voltage or because the plugs are not compatible? If the voltage is the same, cant I splice the safety connector in between the AC transformer and the blue driver?

6100 is AC feed with 2 hots and a common neutral, 6101 and 6105 use DC. It is not possible without quite a bit of electrical modification and the best solution for the 6100 is a UPS.
