Tunze silence question

Hello I was wondering if I can install a tunze silence 1073.02 externally in order to save space in a small 20L diy sump?

You can, it includes nipples to do just that, just keep in mind that the 1073.020 drops off sharply with head pressure, at 4ft it is only going to do about 200gph, it is better suited to running reactors, the 1073.040 is the better return pump, doing about 450 at the same head height, each elbow adds another foot to that so it is fairly easy to get a 1073.020 where the flow is just a trickle.

Oh and incidentally the .040 on amazon from tunze USA states the pump will deliver approx 450 MPH at 4 ft of head lol. Mph
