Skimmer Silence?

Hello, I consider myself fairly new because it’s been many many years since my last set up, which was for just a short time. I recently set up a Red Sea Max E170. Any attempts or success from aquarium land at silencing the water flow from the skimmer into the rear sump? Thank you.

Welcome to RC! I can’t help with the water silencing aspect but it may help to share the type of skimmer you run and possibly a pic or two of the set up with the skimmer
