Tunze Skimmer questions

I do not have much room for a skimmer in my sump on my 75g tank. I was looking at the 9010 because it has a small footprint and the rating says 264g tank i believe. When I asked others they thought the 9010 would be way too small for my setup. Is this true? Does Tunze make a different skimmer which would work better for me?

The base rating of the 9010 is 264 gallons, but this for a fish only or soft coral tank, basically a higher nutrient set up. Deduct 40% for mixed reef tanks, 60% for SPS and 70% for SPS tanks with a high fish load.

I should add that I think the 9010 will do it, but the 9410 is what I would get, it is not much more expensive and it is quite a bit more powerful.

I played with a 9410 when they first came out and was quite impressed with it as well. For it's size it is hard to beat. The return with the filter bag can add a little "bulk" to the footprint but can be rotated around which helps with placement in tight areas. I had posted a pic in this thread
