tunze skimmer

Hi roger,
i have the 9015 in my 37 gallon cube. I am using it as an internal skimmer. Yesterday i noticed the tank's temperature up to about 88. It usually is around 83-84. any chance the skimmer is bringing the heat up. It is an oversize skimmer for the tank. I bought this so i can use it later when i upgrade.

I am sure it would create some temp increase, any pump will add some heat, it is a 23w motor. 4-5 degrees sounds like a lot thought, I could believe the pump would add 2-3 to such a small tank, in a 100 gallon tank the effect would be negligible.
