Tunze stream 6000 drones at low speed

Hello

I currently have 2 6000 streams in my 4 foot tank, and after 2 weeks running at 100% they were very quiet, but now I have them on a 7095 controller pulsing between 40-100%, they drone like made when at 40%. At night time when they throttle back to 40%, the drone is continuous, and very annoying. The only way to stop it is to bring them up to 80% or higher. They are both attached using the tunze magnets, is there anything I can do to get rid of this droning?

Do you have the rubber feet on the magnet, some hum is normal at low speed, it could be being amplified by resonating off the glass.

Yes I have the stick on feet that came with the magnet on them, I have tried moving the streams higher and lower on the glass, and from one corner to the other, no change. I currently have them throttled up to 60% and 100% as I can not take the noise at 40% anymore, and I'm sure the fish do not enjoy it either.

hi saints iv got one 6000 on a magnet useing controller it makes no noise at all on my 4ft tank no matter what setting its at althuogh i cant run it over 50% it recks my tank! how you run two at 80% i dont know i also have a wavebox do your two streams make a good wave motion in your tank mick

I would suggest removing the bush bearing, rotating it 180 degrees and reinserting it being sure to completely press it in.
