Tunze stream humming.

I have had my tunzes now for 6 months and i love them because of the amount of water they move, how they move it, and how quite they are.

But now i have one that is making a noise. It hummms. It is set to pulse from 80% to 40%. It is fine at 40% but when it gets to 80% it makes a loud humming noise. I clean my stream in a bucket of ro and white vinegar every 2 months. And i have now done this with this stream, but it is still making a noise?

Can any of you guys think of what it is?

Most frequently the cause is air inside the magnetic rotor cavity. Try removing the drive unit under water and letting water fill the cavity and then reassembe it. Give the drive unit a firm push and also make sure the lower bushing is firmly seated. This is something that frequently works and for no logical reason- pry up the lower bushing and turn it 180 degrees. It makes no sense that this would do anything but it fixes alot of problems.
