tunze stream question

i'm thinking about getting a tunze stream 6000 for my 92 corner, to add to my 6 MJ1200's. when the stream is in tank, i'll be using magnet holder, does the stream spray straight on or does the head swivel allowing you to turn direction of spray, or does it spray straight on?

if it's on the magnet holder you can swivel the unit but not a lot. maybe about 30 degrees or less.

But keep in mind, the Stream has a very wide flow coming out of it, it's not like a jet of water coming out of a powerhead. It's wide and expands as it moves outward. (I have two 6100's and a Wavebox).

It's a straight shot. If I understand your question, the head is stationary, no sweeping movement, or turning of the opening. You don't need any of that, as previously stated, the flow is so wide that none of that is needed. Aim from the back corners to the front middle and you'll have all the turbulence you need. I just added a ts24 kit to my 180 and love it.

You can turn it on the magnet mount, but you can't aim it up or down, which I really wish you could.

Yes, you will have the ability to swivel it, allowing you to direct the current further left or further right. You can even position the magnets at different angles allowing you even greater directional control and current 'aim'.
