I recently installed two Tunze streamer 6100 for my sps tank. See picture. I like the streamers alot better, more output and use less wattage. I have streamer for less than 1 month.

Couple questions for Roger
1. When I press Food timer - why is one pump still running? Can both pump to turn off on Food timer. This is why picture is not showing still water image.

2. I tried to use Tidal wave mode. I connect one pump to 1st channel, and 2nd pump to 2nd channel. However, only the light from 1st channel is on - even though both pumps appear to be operating. If I switch to pulse or opposite mode, then I do see two light, one per channel. So my question is - is this by design? Or should I connect both pump to channel 1 to use tidal wave?

I have not decided on where to mount to hardware, that's why wire is still just hanging on the 'back' side of tank. I don't care to see the wire, but this is cleaner look compared to 3 Maxijet pump, or bulky sea-swirl.

I plan to tie a mangrove stem to the wire so that it does not show as much.

As for the tide mode- you have to have one pump in socket 8 and the other in 11. First and last sockets. If this is done correctly the interval light comes on and then at the interval you set the pumps and LED's switch off. Food timer should turn off both pumps, check your connections are firm and try powering the pumps down for a few seconds while they are connected to the controller and reenergize them. As for the other modes- in pulse all four LEDs are on because all four cokets are on at all times- only the working sockets are lit. Sequence mode does not work with2 pumps and so that is why it is acting screwy-this feature requires four pumps.
